Part 5: Student Incentives - Top 10 Student Suggested Incentives
- Final Exam or mid term exemptions
- Ongoing prize drawings based on attendance (Perfect attendance for a certain time
frame, allows students to get their name put in a drawing for _____ amount of iPods or other
electronic product, giftcards to mall stores, food places, tickets to Fiesta Texas, restaurants,
or for discounts on school products and merchandise)
- Discounts on school yearbooks, dances, football games and other school events
- Each week the top 10 students with worst attendance have to help clean up cafeteria
- Classes with best attendance get field trips or lunch at a restaurant with their teacher
- Include some teacher incentives for raising student attendance rates including: vacation time,
pay increases for overall class attendance, etc.
- Have 21st Century and any other organizations that will be offering student services give
presentation or have info booklet on the programs that they will be offering at the school
at the beginning of each semester
- Get rid of PRC/Time Management sessions, if a student is late to class, they should get suspended
- It is difficult to get parents to attend school workshops, by adding an incentive for the students,
this may improve the number of parents who will attend
- Have a special table for the class with perfect attendance for 1 month, and give them a pizza party
