The SS/HS evaluation is being conducted by a diverse and experienced team of evaluators. First, the team focuses on examining process measures to determine the fidelity of implementation for each ACCESS program. Second, the team evaluates how each program influences a number of well-defined outcome measures. The focus on program fidelity allows ACCESS a greater ability to sustain processes once the grant is complete by understanding what specifically influences desired outcomes.

The team is comprised of both internal (to the district) and external evaluators. Responsibility for evaluation of all components of the ACCESS grant is assigned to one of the evaluation team members. Staff has been provided for an in-depth examination of Positive Behavior Supports and the ACCESS' technology initiative. Additionally, the team works with evaluators investigating the SS/HS grant program at the national level.
