2008 School Bond Election
Scope of Work for Critical Renovations
At several schools across the District, air quality systems, designed around out-dated and no longer appropriate technology,
are at the end of their useful lives. These geothermal ground-loop or earth-coupled heat pump systems need to be replaced with more reliable and sustainable systems.
In addition, AISD construction management staff developed a list of immediate needs at various campuses, such as needed restroom repairs.
If these items are left unattended, much more expensive remediation would be required in the long run. Additional projects needing immediate attention were submitted by principals
and various districtwide departments. These projects also include items presented during the public forums.
