AISD is currently developing a strategic plan to guide the district through 2013. The charter for the Strategic Plan — which outlines roles, responsibilities, and expected outcomes — was approved by the Board of Trustees, on August 10, 2009. The Strategic Plan is being developed with extensive stakeholder input, including a task force with broad stakeholder representation.

A preliminary draft Strategic Plan is now available for review and comment. A community conversation will be held on October 27 to gain community input on the preliminary draft Strategic Plan. For more information on this community conversation, please see the announcement.
