Board Governance Policies - On August 26, 2002, the Board of Trustees completed the transition to "Policy Governance" when they approved the mission and Results Policies - which articulate what our Board and our community believe our students need to know and be able to do.

District Policies - These policies are revised as needed to reflect changes in federal or state law, Texas Education Guidelines, and local options. Policy Online is generally current, however, delays of up to 30 days may occur before newly adoped policies appear.

District Policy Updates - As revisions are made to the District Policy Manual, the notification memos will be archived for easy reference and access.

Operating Procedures - The Austin ISD Board of Trustees adopts these Operating Procedures to guide the organizational, logistical, and role-specific activities related to the work of the Board.
